Ok - Ang and I talked and I decided to 'revive' this blog rather than MySpace - we'll see how it goes. But - it's also a great place to keep the journal for the trip.
Yesterday seemed like a REALLY long day. I got into Copenhagen at 7:30am local time (11:30pm Denver time) and the day started. We took the train from the airport into the city and walked to the hotel. It was an easy trip and interesting. Ang and I left the hotel around 11:30 and started our walk around town. It was chilly and we didn't stay out too long. We came back to the hotel and took a nice 2 hour nap! We set out exploring again last night around 5ish and had dinner and got back around 11ish. Amazingly - the sun didn't set till around 10ish. It did rise again around 4:30am. Needless to say - I didn't realize how far north we actually are!
The weather looks nicer today than yesterday - it is suppose to be nice all the way till our cruise, which starts on Sunday.
The city is expensive - plus the local money (Danish Kroner) throughs me off. Dinner was 310 kroner last night - and it makes my heart stop until I calculate it to be $62. Which - for what we had - that was expensive! All of the shops are expensive too, so money management is key. Oh well - hopfully the other cities will be 'more affordable'.
