Queen's "Bicycle"

That's the song that keeps running through my head. Everywhere you look - I see bicycles. It's really amazing how fit and independent of cars this society can be. It's refreshing - plus no hills!

Day number 3 brought about a bevy of good things - the day was beatiful, the Crown Jewels were neat, and I'm confused on all of the Christian's and Frederick's in time. Events were :
Rosenberg Castle
Metro (which was a blast!)
Carlsberg Brewery
Going to the movie house
Hard Rock (shopping only)
Walking around the 'happening area' - tons o' people and bicycles

Granted - it doesn't sound like a lot - but we're on vacation....

Now - it's early Saturday morning and I'm sad to be leaving our home for the past 4 days. It is quite possible the BEST room that I have been in will traveling Europe - it is TINY - with bunk beds and a trendle if needed. The bathroom (combo toliet and shower) are funny, but the water pressure is better than at home (and more hot water too!) Ang and I did some research for what is in store for us on the ship - and it will be interesting. Now that I'm getting use to the Krones (local currency) we will be switching to Euros on the ship. Not to mention - the eastern countries that we are visiting aren't using Euros - so we'll probably be going through more money exchanges before everything is said and done.

Today (Saturday) is a cloudy day and I'm not sure what is in store for the day - our plans change by the weather. We talked about going out into hte country (north to Bakken and to IKEA) but not sure if it will stick. Granted, not sure what we'd do if we stay in town - we really have exhausted the sites.

Well, it's after 8:30 now and I need to get moving. Fair Maiden Ang is snoring again and it sounds like it's set in for a while......
